Pro-Walker rally in Eau Claire attracts 200 supporters, 1600 counter-protesters (video)
http://www.wqow.com/Global/story.asp?S=14194542

Eau Claire (WQOW) - More than 1,600 protesters taking to the streets. That was the scene along Craig Road in Eau Claire Saturday morning, as they voiced their opposition to Governor Walker's budget legislation. Meanwhile, supporters of the governor rallied inside a nearby hotel. That group was smaller--around 200.

The pro-Walker rally was held at the Holiday Inn and was part of a statewide bus tour put on by Americans for Prosperity. The organization and those who rallied Saturday say they stand by the governor and his attempts to control state spending.

1. That's it, go hide inside of a Holiday Inn.
They probably didn't want any unfriendly Press picking up on their inflammatory rhetoric (or 2nd-grade spelling).

2. Look at the TeaPuke group. Typical pot-bellied middle aged ignorant cement-headed rednecks.

11. We're both "pot-bellied" and "middle-aged".
How are you going to be able to distinguish my husband and me from the TeaPukes, hm?

Democratic Party membership and long-term volunteerism are open to the pot-bellied and middle-aged, too.

24. "Touchy-feely", huh?
Oh, I knew what you meant. It's a dog whistle, isn't it? After all, those of us who aren't svelte and young should just learn to deal with the nastiness.

not, you're all set. As to the physical attributes, I stand by many common to that group even if they may also apply to others. MANY or MOST in TeaPublican groups are WHITE MALES wearing ball caps, middle to older in age, often with Harley or flag shirts and yes, pot bellied. Not all, but these are just the plain facts. MANY to MOST are ignorant red necks fueled by fear and racism, and MANY are also hypocritical as all hell as they soak up all manner of programs and services. Facts are just facts. Look at the TeaPuke demographics: OVERWHELMINGLY WHITE, MIDDLE TO OLDER IN AGE, REPUBLICAN OR REPUBLICAN LEANING. I've yet to see a survey on their average weight, but as people age they tend to gain weight, so I'm sure their average weight is higher than that of the average Organizing For America group. Not that I begrudge them their weight at all. That's obviously not the main concern. But these folks, many of whom are on Medicare or will be soon, then stand there and screech about hating public programs as they get ready to soak up Medicare to pay for their heart attack and cancer treatments. They are hyprocritical ignorant asshats. (Yes, there are pot bellied white male ball cap wearing older Dems too, and some who even have redneck tendencies on some issues. I KNOW there are exceptions when it comes to ANY set of attributes.)

16. Eau Claire résidents for prosperity need to read about the fiscal nightmare
Walker created in Milwaukee Co..... I truly don't understand how a slogan about prosperity lulls these people into thinking that gutting workers rights under the guise of a budget crisis will help their wallets?

Is this just one group that gets bussed from one "rally" to the next? Where are they busing them from? Who's paying them?

and how many of them were actually there from the community? Did most of the pro-walkers leave on the bus, like they did here in Kenosha?
