Poll question: Good Morning America just called Sarah Palin a Republican heavyweight.
Edited on Sun Mar-06-11 07:25 AM by Syrinx
Does that say more about the media, the Republican Party, or our society at large?

I'm just dumbfounded that Sarah Palin is considered to be a "heavyweight" by anyone. But I'm not sure where to put the blame.

I'm torn between media and society in general.

We live in what has become a really dumb country.

7. Try telling that to her cult
She could say, "I have some Kool-Aid here that I've laced with deadly poison, and I want you to drink it."

And her Palinistas would respond, "Cheers!"

2. "All of the above"
There's no doubt the media chooses our candidates.

Among the Republicans, she may actually *BE* a heavyweight!
(Scary though that thought may be!)

And American Society has come to celebrate idiots and
villify "the intellectual elites".

9. What did she pig out on Girl Scout cookies and end up with an even bigger ass?
The ass on her shoulders will always be the bigger one, but still...

10. McCain started this shit
when he praised her 'experience' in 'the field of national security'. And, of course, 'she knows more about energy than probably anyone else in the United States of America.'

12. Guess They Didn't Get The Memo...
Notice those crickets...that's the Mooselini '12 campaign that is bogged down in muddy twitters and stupid comments. Fortunately we haven't heard much from Grifterella lately, but that's because she's jumped one too many sharks...even for most rushpublicans. Her "blood libel" line seems to have been what did it. It turned off a lot of her media fan club. Also her polling numbers that continue to sink into the sunset is starting to make an impact as well. Heavyweight? Maybe in the universe of "celebrity personalities", but as far as a series '12 rushpublican nominee...that iceburg has already sailed...
