Link to yahoo, with a barely 7 paragraph AP article that repeats one phrase from Obama's Saturday address, which anyone could watch IN FULL, and scream about, if they wanted to.

This OP comes straight out of the "Manufactured Outrage Machine".

6. Same shit different day........
Why not just tell it like it is? What ever corporatists want, is what the budget deal will be.

8. appealing to independents.
Obama is appealing to independents and assuming the democrats will vote for him.
a friend of mine voted for Nader awhile back. he said it has to get worse before it gets better. With a Republican in office there is a clear objective to run against. Obama muddies the water.
Check the polls. These moves are directed at the swing voters. Obama comes out ahead of the Republicans because the Republicans go too far. Calculated, no real direction. Change ???

9. Without specifics (of which I didn't see any in the article), I'm a little hard-pressed...
to gin up a respectable level of outrage. Sure, he's calling for more compromise, which is never a good sign knowing where the attitude of Compromise Uber Alles has led...

I think, at this point, that everyone is just so tired of being led down the primrose path that maybe people are just assuming that any "compromise" made by this administration and the House Democrats will automatically mean that it's BOHICA time.

That being said, they're probably right.

10. "Obama has threatened to veto that (GOP)plan,
and a Democratic offer of $6.5 billion in cuts — on top of $4 billion already signed into law — restores money the House GOP cuts from education, health and other programs."
