This was on my mind, so I thought I'd create something to express it.

Probably not very PC and more than likely a little bit over-generalizing (I do know 1 or 2 good Republicans), but I have a hard time believing otherwise given the current state of the US...

3. Thanks!
I'd love to spruce it up and use it more effectively somehow.

I was thinking about making more like a parody of an ad...with the "fine print" at the bottom of course. Just haven't fully fleshed out the idea yet.

As for how to use it more effectively...I'm at a loss. I'm one of those anti-social nerd types who tends to hide behind my computer! ;)

5. I think you're off to a great
start.

Given the times we're in, I think I just to :hide: permanently!

6.  how about this.
Open with a 50ish white male in a sweater vest and button up shirt and his beautiful wife walking and smiling in slow motion. Then a voice over says... Republicans have always been there for you, protecting you through thick and thin. Who can you count on to protect your way of life! Liberty!! Freedom!! and the pursuit of happiness! Republicans have always been there for you. You can count on us. then run the disclaimer at the bottom with the announcer saying it like in a drug commercial.

7. Awesome!
I was originally thinking like a print ad, but I morphed that into a video ad. The visuals part I had no clue on, but I had the EXACT same thought on the voice over delivery. Said very fast just like when the drug companies want you to miss the part about severe anal leakage or something of the sort.

Thanks for a great idea! Now I just need to find some local like minded folk to help me out with putting the production part together...in South Carolina, that is easier said than done!

8. good luck. i went to college for communications, but that was many many years ago.
i wish i could put something together like that. i have trouble getting these editing programs figured out. LOL! didn't have such things in the early to mid 90s. somehow the drug model seems fitting for deceitful ads.

4. Some generalizations work well for a reason.
Besides, I read it to mean the GOP rather than the dupes who vote Republican. Works really well that way. K & R
