The People of Wisconsin voted Walker to be Dictator...
Not Governor.

His entire behavior indicates a person who believes that since the people elected him, he doesn't have to answer to anyone. He doesn't have to be the Governor for all the People. He was elected to be Dictator. It's an awful display of total and utter disrespect for the citizens of Wisconsin.

1. It won't last long
Recall efforts are underway for several state senators and will be for walker after he has "served" one year. SOLIDARITY!

8. A good friend of mine is a teacher
and a Union member in Wisconsin. So is his wife. They absolutely despise walker and my buddy is point man for his fellow teachers around the Sheboygan, WI area.
Anyway, long story short, according to my friend, walker is in deep trouble as are his repuke cronies. Recall cannot occur until after the elected official has been in office one year, but it is underway for several members of WI senate and house and will be next year for walker. The people of Wisconsin will not forget this shit.

9. The Walker one could be a bonanza for the Dems
His would be in 2012 which would make the election about him
Pick up of US House seats as well as State House seats during a Presidential Election year
Could be the perfect storm

10. I'm hoping the Wisconsin 14 stay away until enough of the Republican
senators can be recalled, which, I'm told, would be around June. Then they can come back and work on a real budget repair bill with the remaining Republicans who will be under the cloud of recall when they are eligible.

2. It's an awful display of total and utter disrespect
to the citizens of the United States. Even though I didn't and couldn't vote for governor in Wisconsin, Walker is spitting on the US constitution and the rule of law in general. He believe he and in extension, the entire republican party are above the law.

3. What's different?
Between Walker and what the R's in the house expect on the budget? This is their MO, they get elected on one topic and once in office it becomes the last thing on their list. What happened to "where are the jobs?". Our problem is that we're the ones that are willing to "meet them halfway"

4. Typical Republican asshole - a win (for Repub) = absolute mandate to do anytihng
but a win for a Dem (even a huge win like Obama's) = an American mandate for "balance" and "compromise" from the dems.

6. This simply underscores in particularly dramatic fashion what is true for many elected leaders:
They don't answer to the voters. They answer to their corporate benefactors. Walker is simply the Kochs' man in Madison.

7. But he's received thousands of e-mails from people in WI supporting him. And if you want the proof
just send 31,000 dollars and he will (may?) send you the proof
