There is no damn alternative.
And that's what makes America suck so bad. We American citizens live in a plutocracy not in a democracy as so many want to keep believing. The Dem/Rep left/right blue/red binary charade is simply there to keep people distracted from the real way our government works and why each blames the other for the looting.

Bill Moyers says it well:

In a true Democracy there would be more than 2 candidates to choose from and the richest man wouldn't hold all the aces.

the feeling of having a choice.

9. I'm reading the People's History of the US
I'm barely a third in and I've found out that the two party system was set up just to neuter any dissent. This ain't new folks.

3. We're now a country where one often just buys the election. And the top wealth
of the country dictates to the politicians. With Citizens United we will see what democracy was left fade as a lost memory. And generations to come well might not know the difference, they will be living under financial dictators, yet we will call it freedom and a democracy. And most will live in a third world nation.

12. It will be not which party, but which corporation do you support. I can imagine the
espionage in coming elections between corporations for who is out funding whom and their agendas. What an absolute F'en mess has been created in this country.

7. The cure begins with treatments
1. End the US wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Not limited withdrawal. But full withdrawal of troops.
2. Cut the war machine BIG but precisely where it needs to be cut. Not veterans affairs but war contractors like KB&R and private warriors like BlackWater/X or whatever they're called now.
3. Stop Corporate Welfare to war profiteers like Boeing etc.

14. The winner take all election prevents third parties from gaining representation.
There's probably no curing that without a revolution.
