What an articulate and informative representative for the Teamsters, and union people in general. I'm left with "What the hell is Obama thinking?" after Hoffa'stake on this "arrangement" with the truckers and Mexico. Many Mexican drivers can neither speak nor read english, rarely do they have a CDL license, drug testing is a urine sample "sent somewhere in the US for analysis" along with being a job killer for US truckers and on and on. Hoffa stated C of C is putting pressure. Phone rang and had to leave the discussion. This a horrible idea and I'm disappointed POTUS is supporting this insanity.

Driving our highways is already treacherous because of the long-haul freighters ... just imagine what it will be like with Mexican trucks!

Besides, this will no doubt be yet another brick-in-the-wall driving down wages for middle class Americans.

5. We have hiway 69 going through here and its one of the roads they'll be driving on

I'm not looking forward to this madness. On these through hiways the truckers are running petal to metal and it gets scary sometimes. Adding none-reading none-speaking drivers to the mix can't be good for us locals.

4. This was hashed out on DU a couple days ago and a

couple DUers, one who claimed to be an independent trucker claims no jobs will be lost. It troubles me anytime a Democrat supports the position of the C of C, it can't possibly be a good thing
