2. Gillard, who proved herself to be a U.S. puppet
when she embarrassed herself and Australia regarding the Wikileaks smear campaign. She read the script dutifully but has been slammed by her fellow citizens since then. Hopefully as a result she will be thrown out in the next election.

She still has not, to my knowledge, admitted that the smears against Wikileaks and Australian citizen, Julian Assange, are now known to have been false, fabricated by firms hired to destroy the credibility of a news org when the U.S. could not refute the facts they revealed.

Reading Australian blogs, after the Wikileaks Australian cables and her blunder regarding supporting blindly, false smears against a highly regarded Australian citizen, I don't think her fellow countrymen appreciate the enormous influence the U.S. had on their elections, she being the choice of the U.S. as the most likely to be cooperative.

Not surprised to see them together. I am sure they will be talking about what she can do to harm Assange, or get him to a U.S. Gulag. But if she does, she should be tried in her own country as a traitor, which many have already called her for her betrayal of her own countryman and the lies she told, which she was forced to withdraw.

10. Gillard has introduced a carbon tax to curb pollution though it has cost her a lot of popularity.
http://www.pm.gov.au/press-office/climate-change-framework-announced"

A carbon price is a price on pollution. It is the cheapest and fairest way to cut pollution and build a clean energy economy. The best way to stop businesses polluting and get them to invest in clean energy is to charge them when they pollute.

The businesses with the highest levels of pollution will have a very strong incentive to reduce their pollution.

The Government will then use every cent raised to:

* Assist families with household bills
* Help businesses make the transition to a clean energy economy
* Tackle climate change

The Government will not shy away from this difficult but vital economic reform to move Australia to a clean energy nation.

The framework has been agreed by Government and Greens members of the Multi-Party Climate Change Committee (MPCCC). The other members, Mr Tony Windsor and Mr Robert Oakeshott, have agreed that the proposal should be released for community consultation."
