Regarding the hospital cracked down on by a Catholic bishop... |

This has nothing to do with the life of the baby. It has everything to do with a conservative Catholic bishop making sure *HIS* power is unchallenged.
The hospital had to make a medical decision. The bishop is making a power grab. :grr:
Bishop Strips Hospital of Catholic Status After Abortion Nun Gets Ex-Communicated From Catholic Church After Approving an Abortion to Save a Mom's Life By DAN HARRIS Dec. 22, 2010 An Arizona hospital's decision to terminate a pregnancy to save a woman's life has resulted in the loss of its Catholic affiliation.
Last fall, a 27-year-old mother of four entered the hospital 11 weeks pregnant and was suffering from pulmonary hypertension.
Doctors said if her pregnancy wasn't terminated, she would likely die of heart failure - taking her unborn child with her.
The decision to terminate was approved by Sister Margaret McBride, a longtime senior administrator at the hospital. But when Bishop Thomas Olmstead of the Diocese of Phoenix heard about the abortion, he excommunicated McBride.

1. No offense but, don't care about this. To me it is a non-issue. |

 But I'll tell you what I do think is an issue. Lady X who dresses up like a nun and takes her cross to the abortion clinic to protest the activity there. I always wonder why she doesn't spend more of her time trying to stop the war. I guess because she supports the idea of having cannon foder for killing people which I consider to be a war based on lies.

The right to lifers would rather let the mother die which in turn would kill the fetus than allow one of them to live.
Not sure how they quantify that in their tiny little brains.

He would let the mother and the fetus, with her anyway since it was not close to reaching viability outside the womb, die. Then he excommunicates a nun who has some common sense and compassion and the hospital too. Is there no room in Catholicism for compassion? Is Catholism just about power for some white men like it has been for centuries?
