New Hampshire GOP Pushing for Laws to Keep College Students From Voting
It seems that Republicans are determined to antagonize every demographic except conservative white males and the elderly. Do they think they will be able to win consistently this way?

New Hampshire's new Republican state House speaker is pretty clear about what he thinks of college kids and how they vote. They're "foolish," Speaker William O'Brien said in a recent speech to a tea party group.

"Voting as a liberal. That's what kids do," he added, his comments taped by a state Democratic Party staffer and posted on YouTube. Students lack "life experience," and "they just vote their feelings."

New Hampshire House Republicans are pushing for new laws that would prohibit many college students from voting in the state - and effectively keep some from voting at all...

2. Let the New Hampshire legislature pass a law like that.
The law will antagonize young voters and get struck down by courts as clearly unconstitutional. If the state allows any 18 year old to vote, any 18 year old that declares residency in the state has a constitutional right to vote.

Again. I challenge those that say there is no difference between democrats and republicans to weigh in on this issue. Democrats would NEVER, EVER attempt to remove voter rights from any group.

5. Politicians that have only political interests instead of
advancement of the greater good need to be seen for the anti-Americans that they are.

11. This is how a corrupt minority Party behaves.
The writings on the wall....that's why you see such great efforts to stop people from exercising their constitutional rights. It's all about power...getting it and maintaining it. They have no vision for a better country, just a plan that keeps them in control.

12. College students are probably more informed than 80% of the electorate.

14. An educated populace is a threat to Republicans.
They've max'd out the moron/rube vote...so where do they find new votes? They don't. They are anti-gays, anti-blacks, anti-minorities, anti-immigrant, anti-liberal, anti-progressive, anti-Democrat, anti-Muslim, anti-science....basically, they are anti-socialist. The problem is their politics of division - slicing and dicing of the electorate into "us vs. them" is reaping diminishing returns.

The only thing left is to start taking away voting rights.
