Wisconsin legislature bans recording devices
Do we need to guess why?

The free-wheeling days inside the Capitol appear to be over.

Following weeks of eardrum-shattering noise, acres of protest signage and tons of bedding and empty pizza boxes, order will be the order of the day, beginning Tuesday.

The sergeants at arms for the Legislature's Senate and Assembly came out with their rules of decorum Monday night — akin to what's expected in church, the library or a movie theater.

Capitol Police also issued more extensive entry rules to the Capitol for Tuesday, with a very specific list of prohibited items, ranging from animals to massage chairs.

1. So have all those items been removed from the capitol?
Tables, chairs, furniture, coolers, crockpots and other cooking appliances, easels, extension cords, large bags, boxes, or storage containers are all items that are probably in the legislative offices and must be removed if these are the rules.

Empty the building the the legislators can meet standing in empty rooms. Oh that gavel the leader has might be deemed inappropriate too.

2. It's time to start calling this crap for what it is, and it's time to then ignore it.
Up your game, people.

3. Time to move forward on those recall petitions. That's the step
that will bring change. It's almost a foregone conclusion that the bill will end up passing, so it's time to move on to removing all the Republicans who can be recalled now. When others are eligible for recall, recall them, too. That is how this whole sequence of events can revolutionize politics in Wisconsin.
