2. He was taking a shower!! |
|
I'm guessing the intruder didn't have a gun and that the homeowner didn't need one even if he had one.
Thanks for the story!

4. We leave our two German shepherds at home |
|
If an intruder entered our home, we'd be having the carpets cleaned and the dogs wormed.

6. I believe in the deterrent affect of dogs... |
|
But, I would hope they would not have to interact. The one time I was ever robbed, I arrived home to find my then small dog and cat sitting together on the front stoop. Given both were totally "inside" animals, I knew to call the police. Whatever was taken, I was just damned glad my furry babes were not hurt.

7. Our two GSDs are exceptional animals, and only a fool would hear them |
|
and still enter our home.
Both are working bred, with extreme prey and fight drive, and protection-trained (One is also trained for tracking). They are wonderful with children, but afraid of nothing and very atuned to threatening circumstances.
That said, the big male GSD is my best buddy, and if it ever came to a situation of self defense, I would use a firearm before allowing him to engage the aggressor and risk injury.

8. Did he hang the towel back up? |
|
I can't stand it when home intruders don't pick up after themselves.

10. After you take a shower, aren't you clean? |
|
Edited on Tue Mar-08-11 11:55 AM by jberryhill
If you are showering properly, then the towel you use to dry with shouldn't be "dirty".
If you are really concerned, then have a set embroidered "Burglar", so that you won't have to wash them each time.
This ain't the LA Hilton, you know.
Save water.
