Intruder calls police, afraid that homeowner might have a gun
Edited on Tue Mar-08-11 03:07 PM by Liberal_in_LA
Intruder, Ore. homeowner call police on each other

Oregon police say both an intruder and a Portland homeowner phoned 911 to report the same thing: a strange man in a home.

Lt. Kelli Sheffer says the intruder told police he had just broken into a home Monday evening when the owner arrived — and the caller was worried the homeowner might have a gun.

Accompanied by his two German Shepherds, the homeowner found the intruder and asked what he was doing in the house. That's when the stranger locked himself in a bathroom and phoned police.

3. Many years ago, someone broke into the home of some childhood friends,
two brothers and their father, a WWII veteran and retired steel worker who had a small construction company. When police arrived the burglar crawled into the police car to get away from his intended victims, who had been taking turns hitting him since they found him in their house.

Police had no sympathy for him.
