COLA increase for 2012?
So far the numbers are indicating a 1% increase. I want a 50% increase because my SSDI is not catching up with the gasoline, food, meds, etc.

These people should be using the CPI-E formula instead of CPI-W - because it leaves out a lot of things not figured out.

3. How do you know there will be COLA in '12?
Serious question, no snark intended.
1% will = 7.00 in my case.

2. food and fuel (i.e. what people really need) were taken out because
they were "too volatile". Now what the hell is the purpose of a "cost of living index" that only includes things we can do without?

One of the biggest ripoffs of the 20th Century.
