NPR exec says tea partiers are seriously racist, in related news water is wet
This propaganda only caught my attention because it's one of the top stories on google news:

http://content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2011/03/tea-party-secret-video-npr-funding-/1

---...The video purports to show Schiller speaking to a pair of men posing as representatives of a phony Muslim group called seeking to give $5 million to NPR. The men tell Schiller they are affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, the Islamist political movement.

It shows Schiller stating that the Republican Party and the Tea Party is "fanatically involved in people's personal lives and very fundamental Christian - and I wouldn't even call it Christian. It's this weird evangelical kind of move."

Schiller goes on to say that the "xenophobic" Tea Party has hijacked the GOP and calls them "white, middle-America, gun-toting - I mean, it's scary. They're seriously racist, racist people."---

1. O'Keefe's cronies tried to pass a fraudulent $5 million check?
That should be the real story. Schiller should have taken the check, and when it bounced, have the police charge the slime O'Keefe with fraud.

3. To me the real story is that this showed up as 1 of the top 3 "news" items on google
Pure propaganda is what passes as "news" in the U.S. now.

2. This shit just leaves me speechless.
Schiller having to apologize for telling the truth.

I've never heard of anyone on Fox apologizing for telling lies.

4. And there are supernatural forces that tell people to be racist.
Getting people to fight over nothing is the way bad tries to hurt people most, then when they are shown they fight over nothing they can be hurt again.

Supernatural tried to tell me to be racist, and that was like in the first couple weeks of hard times, so I know racist don't know very much at all if they got derailed by that.

But there are lots of racist of every race.

Funny story, some people took my posts, and then posted them in a different form, to make me look racist. Can you believe that? More of the smear crews at work, racking up debt.

Although it doesn't bother me, after all, it was a part of the scene in Blazing Saddles, so I figure it works out eventually :D

6. Great title! Here's something just a tad ironic:
We hear from a lot of rabid DUers that NPR is the mouthpiece of the GOP, tools for corporate america, and the darling of conservatives everywhere.

But, NPR was just punked in a similar scam as the one pulled on ACORN and Planned Parenthood by some convervative goons.

Why in hell would it be that conservatives would attempt to undermine their party's mouthpiece?

9. I think it's time for someone to start following O'Keefe around with a camera ...
Have a videographer (always standing on public sidewalks, streets, etc.) record that d-bag's every move. O'Keefe's made himself a public figure, so it'll be no different than a papparazzo following him around.

And, yes ... I wish NPR had tried to cash that check, and had had O'Keefe arrested on felony charges.

would do the same with O'keefe & cheesy smelling secretion left on a douche bag. Would love for something like that to appear when O'Keefe's name was googled.

12. Seriously, who blabs like Schiller did to people they don't know? And
why not research people who are potential large donors before blabbing freely?

14. Good question. First thing that comes to mind is malls, bridges, etc...
which are privately owned and/or national security related so they cannot be filmed without specific permission.

19. I think it's going to vary by state
http://www.rcfp.org/taping/states.html

rcfp.org deals mostly with the recording of phone conversations, but it does have some data about videotaping laws.

17. First off, people in positions of power these days should always assume
they are in some way, being recorded. Also, they should never get into any conversation with someone about political issues unless they know them or have researched their backgrounds. It's sorta like what the Christians say they believe, "god is watching you". Just always assume someone is watching you, taping you or recording what you are saying and you'll be fine. You'll also stop that sack of shit O'keefe, from doing damage and keeping his name in the news. One final thing, we all know, that if a Republicon says or does something it's ok, if a Democrat does or says the exact same thing it's not ok. It's seems to be the unwritten rule.

18. This guy is a fucking moron
I have zero sympathy for anyone retarded enough to fall for any stupid ass prank done by James O'Keefe. How could this dumbass not have known he was being set up?

Everything he says about the Tea Party is true, but to open up this much to some fake Muslim advocacy group is so incredibly fucking stupid.

22. I dont have a problem with what he said
I have a problem with the fact that he sat there and let those punks say fucked up anti-Semitic shit and didn't say anything about it. He fell into a trap laid by amateurs and now NPR is probably going to be de-funded because of him.

Do you trust the mainstream press to report this story honestly? Do you expect them to focus on any of the substantive points he made? No, they will focus on the sensationalist anti-Semitic and more ad hominem elements of what he was saying and everyone will turn against NPR. He just fucked them over so bad its not funny. This is Acorn part 2.
