Sometimes their wilful ignorance is so obvious, that they get outed by their own kind:
Groan…evolution back on trial in the Legislature

Here we go again. State Sen. Steve Wise of Jacksonville, a believer in intelligent design, wants to drag out evolution again.

This is so embarrassing. There are those of us who support education reform and merit pay for teachers. Wise actually is behind the merit pay bill.

And then he goes and does this. And in doing so he belittles the reform movement, giving critics ammunition, playing the role of troglodyte conservative. How are we supposed to attract the bio-medical industry here if we reject the basic foundation of biology.

This bill would turn us into a laughingstock. It makes Republicans look foolish and backwards. Here we are upgrading our academic curriculum in high school, particularly in science, while at the same time going back to the 19th Century.

3. I'm guessing that decade was 1950 to 1960.
I felt like I went into a time warp when I finally settled down in Central Florida. Crazy things happened that had no explanation, other than that I fell into a time warp and was pulled back when nothing made sense.

4. I want to move to Orlando BUT
aughhhhh!!!! It is almost worse than where I am now! (Memphis). My son is there and my family all wants to eventually migrate there.

Maybe if I give it another year things will get better and some democrats will clean up the (hopefully) recalled GOP mess they made.

BTW, has anyone heard from Alan Grayson lately? I wonder what he is up to?

Shine on,
Annette

6. Just a word of advice:
Bring your own real estate agent, your own lawyer, your own civil engineer and your own support group.

If you come with all that in place, you should do fine.

2. It doesn't so much "Republicans look foolish and backwards" as ...
reveal them to be foolish and backwards.

7. We should follow up these ridiculous moments with questions like,
"How do you expect to keep high tech jobs in the U.S. with that kind of talk track?"

5. If Intelligent Design is Theory then God is Theory
If presented in that way how many Christians would agree. They want Intelligent Design taught as an equal "theory" to Evolution..So they are saying they have a "theory" there is a God..So much for "Faith"
