Who knew? There's a word for the "creative spelling & grammar" : Teabonics
 I found this site in a google search of tea party rallies:

These are signs seen primarily at Tea Party Protests.

They all feature "creative" spelling or grammar.

This new dialect of the English language shall be known as "Teabonics."

2. Not sure I like the implication.
I know it's a joke and accept that. But it's obliquely referencing a stereotype.

Or not so obliquely.

14. While I do see your point...
...I think it is outweighed by the fact that the Tea Partiers will absolutely hate the allusion to Ebonics, which no doubt they all rolled their eyes at when it was proposed as a proper dialect of English.

So okay, they have developed their own spelling dialect, why not give it a name? Teabonics fits it to a ... tea.

12. The Moran Guy (tm) is gonna lose his title if he doesn't watch it.
He had a very promising start, but he's just been sitting on his laurels for the last couple of years. You can't do that if you intend to be a professional moran.

13. It seems clear that the tea party fear of socialism isn't based on any research
you would figure if they were that afraid of it they would have looked it up in a book or googled it or something.

17. Missed the comments, thanks for pointing that out. Here's a good one:

"Phrosty. says:

Love teabagging, but are too old and out of touch with reality to know what it means? Then boy do I have just the thing for YOU. Teabonics! The wondiferous mode of speech that's sweeping the nation. Teabonics! Is proper English not American enough for you? Well then, TEABONICS. For just nine small payments of $19.95, YOU can tell the world to fuck off, and that you don't really give a shit about feedom and equaltee. That crap's for hippies anyway, and everyone knows hippies are communists. So order now! Teabonics! Because nothing is more American than hubris, Reagan, and poor grammar."
