Things The Republican Congress Has Done, INSTEAD Of Creating Jobs

Republicans said if they took control of the House of Representatives they would start creating jobs. This is a list of some of the things they've done, instead of creating jobs.

# 1 Symbolically read the constitution, skipped parts of it, and also read part of the Declaration of Independence, while still claiming to be reading the constitution.

# 2 Congressman swore themselves in by watching the swearing-in ceremony on TV, without actually attending. They later had to be sworn in again, and 2 of their votes were deemed invalid since they had not been properly sworn in.

# 3 “Symbolically” voted to repeal the health care bill. Spent hours debating it beforehand, even though they knew it was purely symbolic and would not become law.

# 4 Attempting to de-fund Global Warming research.

# 5 Attempting to defund health care, which is also mostly symbolic.

# 6 Proposed a budget that would cut billions of dollars in aid to the poor, the homeless, and women and children.

# 7 Extended the Patriot Act.

# 8 Attempted to cut all funding for Planned Parenthood and PBS.

# 9 Attempted to redefine rape to no longer include statutory rape, incest rape, or drugged rape.

# 10.Cut Pell Grants

4. And, started war on the middle class, back to attacking womens rights, attacking gays, demonizing

minorities - basically they pick up where they left under bush

5. Okay, so here's what they want ---

- have a bunch of kids (no birth control, cuz no Planned Parenthood)
- no way to feed or house the kids (little to no help cuz they cut billions to aid poor, homeless, women & kids)
- cut funds to PBS (that evil Sesame Street)
- managed to make it so far & want to better yourself? (too bad, no Pell Grant)
- want some early learnin for the kids? (good luck, 1 billion reasons they don't want kids to learn)
- religious persecution (cuz if you don't believe like us, you're against us)
- none of the above matter anyway, once you burst into flames or somethin (de-fund global warming research)
