5. Typical right-wing nonsense that we've heard before
The guy's such a hypocrite that it's hard to put into words. Essentially the thrust of the discussion was that we need to repeal our regulations at the federal level and let businesses regulate themselves. And then when the corporations predictably take down the economy/environment/etc through their greed, such as during the financial crisis in 2008, the Paul thinks government should just stand by and let everything implode. He thinks that as long as there's no government there to rescue these businesses from the brink, they will act like saints and stay out of trouble.
