These are the kind of people who keep the republicans in office, while voting against their own best interests. How in the name of gawd can these people even think about voting for a repub?? I have a cousin who is a rabid rightwinger, and dirt poor. I had a recent exchange with him and he brought up some of the rightwing talking points about ending entitlements. I asked him "so, you're ok with them taking away your mom's social security?? You haven't had a job in 3 years, what will you live on then??" He still hasn't replied..
