A little fantasy I thought up, regarding our Founding Fathers
I was working on one of my stories, and I came up with the idea that just supposing a "time capsule" is found, somewhere of importance, which dates back to the late 18th-early 19th century.

The box is metal, and there is a small mark on the underside of the box, which would be that of the coppersmith who assembled the box, and experts attribute that man to be named Paul Revere.

Excitedly, with lots of hoots and hollers, the box is brought to the President or some other highly placed person, and the box is opened for the first time with millions upon millions TV viewers to see the unveiling of the contents of that vessel through time.

What do you want to see be in that box?

In my own mind, I want to see Paul Revere's marking tool. I want to see Thomas Paine's notes. I want to see Thomas Jefferson's notes on the Constitution, and the reasoning for the wording of the Bill of Rights, perhaps even going to show some of what was in the Bill originally, and why things were left out.

I want to see definitive answers on the whole Wall of Separation thingie. I want to see who the scapegoats were during the aftermath of the Revolution, if there were any. I want to see some of Benjamin Franklin's patents and inventions. I want to see copperplate engravings. I want DNA to be present on all these personal items, so we can perhaps clone them a couple if hundred years down the line when we need them.

What do you want to see in the box?
