Kucinich, Jones Announce Resolution to End the War in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON - March 8 - Congressmen Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) and Walter Jones (R-NC) will announce the introduction of a privileged resolution that would require a vote in the House of Representatives on whether the United States will end the war in the Afghanistan by the end of 2011. The announcement comes as a new Rasmussen poll showed that a majority of Americans want our troops withdrawn from Afghanistan within a year.
