I've replaced Huffington Post
on my home page with Talking points memo.

Now that Huff is corporately controlled it is infected

http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/

TPM is pretty good and very similar to the Huff Post O8)

3. I' ve just done the same thing, thanks for a great idea. I used to love
posting at Linkins Sunday morning recap of the chat shows but since AOL has taken over, if you post anything agin the right your post most likely doesn't get through. Arianna sold her soul to the devil...Thanks for the great idea...

5. They have a twitter, for twitaddicts like me as well!
http://twitter.com/#!/tpmmedia

My first thought when considering a news agency is if they're biased to the right or not...
My second is if they have a twitter.

...I might need some rehab, guys.

9. WOW Pharaoh!
What a great site, reminds me of Huff Po back before it went all rightwingy and celebrity worshipping. I am definitely signing up and changing my bookmarks. Thank you.

11. Yep, I've moved here
and I got to TPM, too. I can't stand Huff Po anymore. It's sad to leave all the people I knew there, but it has just gotten too bad, and most of the people that were on my friend's list went elsewhere, as well.

Now I have another reason to not click.

13. TPM made history by breaking and following AttorneyGate.
I was an early member. Am so very pleased to see some of the reporters there have gone on to other good sites,
like Stuart Ackerman has.
TPM is one of several sites I browse for news, but DU always seems to have the widest selection of current/breaking
stories with links.

17. Huffington Post is more like Britain's Daily Mail, with a liberal
slant. TPM is like actual news.
