2. There are two other forums where this post would do the most good.
Namely Environment/Energy and the DU Writing Group :)

I know only one other member here who is a writer/editor by trade, but I don't know if she has the background in environmental issues to take such a position...

4. I'm an old editor/writer, and I actually wrote for Mother Earth News

back in the early 1980s. The biggest problem they're going to have is finding someone who's willing to move to Topeka, KS, I think. I'd never live in Kansas.

In the old days, the magazine was based in Hendersonville, NC. Now, John Shuttleworth is dead, the magazine has changed, and Kansas is not a nice place for a liberal to live. Even if I were younger and looking for an editorial job, I'd give this a pass.
