Who teaches the class, A teacher or some local preacher? The fundies think of these as backdoor ways into public schools

ones I've seen locally do not do any preachy type stuff, no saving of derelict souls, no suggestions that one is better than the other. The bible classes present the information more as a work of literature than religion.
None of them attempt to establish a religion, thus no problem with the separation issue. IMO.
