Spike Lee is going to film Ed Schultz Promos on Jobs, Outsourcing, Unions for MSNBC

Remember last summer when Ed Schultz yelled in the middle of the MSNBC newsroom, “I’m going to torch this ing place” for not being included in election night promos?

Well, that was so six months ago.

Not only is Big Ed getting his own promos they’re going go be directed by Spike Lee. Schultz is heading to his hometown of Norfolk, VA today where he’ll tape some “Lean Forward” promos.

HamptonRoads.com reports Lee will, “showcase Schultz in a series of ads focusing on jobs, outsourcing and unions. The ads will be unscripted and shot like documentaries, an area for which Lee has also garnered acclaim.”

And btw Rachel's ratings 25-54 demo once again was boffo yesterday 359, more than Beck and Ed had 281! They are doing great!

put him back on at the NEWS HOUR of 6:00 and then repeat him again later. I don't like 'the last word'....he has rethug thin lips. Sorry...I'm biased.

I liked it better when Ed was on at that time, the flow of the shows was so much better. I don't like O'Donnell at all and his "Last Word" doesn't fit in the earlier time slot at all.

8. The new owners of MSNBC may be

trying undermine Ed...put him in a bad time slot and then he doesn't get the numbers...then they boot him. And I do miss him on Friday....why isn't he on? Maybe he only wants to work 4 days/week.

Ed would get everyone riled up for Protests on Saturday!!!

Maybe Ed should have KO's old 8pm slot or move Rachel up to 8, Ed at 9 and LOD back to his old 10pm slot.
