American workers, this is the moment-- WE ARE NOT SLAVES!
Edited on Wed Mar-09-11 07:49 PM by mike_c
This is the time to make the rat bastards and their lackeys pay for waking the sleeping giant!

We must have a coordinated nationwide general strike. Obama has made it clear that he has little regard for labor or for working people. It's time to hit them where they live. Stop working for the bastards, at least for a day!

Those who argue that they can't afford to miss work, or that their bosses will seek retribution have already given up! Find your courage! The attack on working people in Wisconsin and elsewhere MUST NOT STAND.

My union is in a tough contract battle. We're organizing coordinated demonstrations across California on April 13. Other workers need to do the same, and begin the process of standing together.

UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE BEG!

3. You're right. They've pushed the envelope to the .......
breaking point. It's time for action. Start it in Wisconsin and let it spread.

And everybody remember, IT NEEDS TO HURT COMMERCE! Prepare to get arrested and do everything in your power to disrupt trade, ESPECIALLY at the top. Try to leave the Mom and Pop stores open, but large concerns need to be disrupted.

10. Agreed
I'm ready to strike, and I don't belong to a union. What my own company has done to its employees over the last two years is disgusting. Meanwhile, the principals' pockets are much fatter. They are not sharing. And more of this crap will come if we ALL don't do something about it.

We can't count on the White House on this.

6. here over the weekend in Stockholm, we had over 10,000 protest the potential NATO invasion of Libya
I just think that so many Americans have been trained via the media to live separate, non-connected lives from their fellow citizens. They are too separated and subservient to make a move.

Also your government really intimidates the population into submission via power-projection (wars on TV, implanting fear of employer backlash, etc) and also the brutal up front violations of civil liberties in the name of the so-called war on terror by TSA, DHS and the thug police forces there.

So many are terrified of retribution (at work, by family, by friends, etc) that they just submit.

Submission is the refuge of slaves.

Good luck at the barricades, the working class EU supports you fully!

9. on "Solidarity" - I have lately seen many in the US call anyone using this phrase "commies"!
Solidarity was the most important ANTI-COMMUNIST worker movement in the Warsaw-Pact countries, never let these thugs forget that fact.

11. Solidarity Rally in Washington DC Starting on July 4, 2011
Be there on the 235th birthday of our nation to show solidarity for America's working Men and Women.

Shut Washington Down until they do the People's Business.

5-10 million person march is a good start.
