A message to Washington; see what the fuck happens when you give the Puke fuckers an inch
they destroy a century of Union bargaining. Maybe if our President stopped playing fucking 8 level chess for once we could stop these bastards in their tracks.

We are shit, we're more worried about what people think than how they will be affected.

And I guess the President lost his shoes under Boehner's bed.

2. I can't believe that someone who is allegedly as smart
as he is (I say allegedly because he appears to be as dumb as box of fucking rocks to me)wouldn't know this.

3. I think it's all part of the plan...
It's not that the President is a weak, mushy liberal. It's not that he's so smart he's playing 9 dimensional chess.

He's a corporate stooge. He won't come help. He won't get involved. It would hurt his standing with Wall Street.

4. How was the President going to stop a Republican Congrss and Senate..
in a State where Republicans control all branches of government form doing this.

Obama doesn't have the authority to reach into Wisconsin and stop them from doing this? The Constitution doesn't give him the authority to reach into a state and tell their elected Congress, Senate, and Governor not to do that.

The people of Wisconsin elected Republicans. Now they are getting royally screwed by thsoe Republicans they elected. Governor Walker and Republicans are going to leave them squealing with the feeling.

Obama could have, at most, made a speach and openly support the people with a speach. But the President has zero power to do anything.

8. Actually, he must in accordance with the Constitution work with the Congress...
to pass a budget. This isn't a totalitarian government.

Its seems to teh me the pussbags are the ones who forgot in record time that Republcians screwed everything up.

10. He has powers in accordance with the constitution...
Which gives him no power to affect legislation in Wisconsin.

14. No Excuse, just fact.

Obama could support the labor movement more vociferously, but he can do nothing about the ridiculous and possibly illegal legislation passed by the idiot Republicans in Wisconsin. Those powers belong specifically to the states, and Wisconsin elected a Republican Governor, a Republican Senate, a Republican House, and a Republican U.S. Senator. This is what the voters in Wisconsin got, whether they realized it was what they voting for, though anyone with half a brain should have known better. It seems to me the people to blame are the electorate in Wisconsin, who decided they preferred Republicans to have the power they are now exercising.

15. He has the power to lead. That's why we voted for him.

We thought he was a leader.

This isn't some foreign policy issue we are talking about. This is the future of workers rights in America.

The states that are doing this, are TEST CASES, if we let those states go quietly the bastards will march all over the rest of us in no time. The people aren't standing for it, people have been in the streets in record numbers, and that was nothing compared to what is coming now. The whole fucking world is watching this, just because our media isn't covering it doesn't mean the world isn't seeing it. It's time for Obama to shit or get off the pot. He's either with them or he's with us

This issue is more important than any one man's political future or political career.

If you want to know what I want him to do well, he can get his ass to Wisconsin, with his entourage, followed by the White House Press Corps. He can give a speech, followed by a press conference. If Obama goes, the press will finally have to actually cover this. Whether it's on Faux to show he's a socialist pig or on M$NBC to show he's a man of the people, everyone on the planet will know for sure where he stands. And if he has as much support as his followers say he does, then we should easily be able to turn back this tide with his help and his leadership.

17. He can give a speech, or support labor by an appearance...
but it is not within his power to stop a state legislature from legislating. And his appearance will not do a damned thing, but make protesting at the capital very difficult. The Secret Service would need to clear the area, and that would go over like a slice of shit pie.

The people of Wisconsin elected this government. They are now having buyers remorse and the rest of us see what the Republicans intend to do.

Blaming the President for this is ridiculous, because it is not in his power to do anything about the Wisconsin State Legislature. The message needs to be sent home that it is the people who made this decision. The people screwed up badly, and only the people can fix it.

7. Who gave any of these Republican senators in WI an "inch"?
They grab; they obstruct; they twist; they obfuscate. No one has to "give them an inch" in order for them to wreak havoc. All they need is a strategy and the votes.

That's what Washington knows about the Republicans: they have the votes in the House and they can do or block anything they want. This is what you need to know: majorities in legislative bodies COUNT, even if you don't agree with all the members of the party who have been sent there.

11. Best comment I've seeon on this whole issue.
There is a difference between the parties. One of the two will be in power. Those who don't vote dont' care. They are Republicans by default.
