It's A Trap.......
The Repugs in Wisconsin know that what they did - this vote - was illegal. This is a trap for the 14 Senate Dems. They will - even if one Dem will return to Wisconsin - fall into the trap.

It will give the Repugs the quorum that they need and they will then take another vote and pass it legally.

It's a trap.

1. The 14 had the good sense to leave the state when they had to
Let's hope that good sense continues.

2. What makes you think the Repukes care about something as trivial
as the law anymore? They are doing Gods work now, and should not be handcuffed by any of mans "rules":sarcasm:

6. Seriously. Over and over laws are broken without consequence.
Why should it matter to them when they know they can get away with it.

9. They don't, but it's easier if they can do it within the rules.
I'm sure plan A is that someone comes back and they grab them and pass the bill with quorum, and plan B is to just defend this illegal one in court. Plan A is cheaper.

7. Well.... my take... they might as well come back... here is why..
This legislation will not fly for more than a year or so anyway... as soon as he is recalled... and the new Gov takes over, he will push for a repeal of this legislation if it is not deemed an illegal vote before hand.

This will keep the focus on the issue and after the recall, the momentum will continue into the fall as repugs lose seats not only in Wisconsin...but Michigan... Ohio... Indiana... NJ... Florida... R.I.....

A wave of change larger than when Obama took office.

Hopefully we have filibuster proof Houses... and Senates across the country... including the Capital.

Then maybe the Dems will get the message that our country was never right of center...but way left.

Peace...

8. I've been concerned about this but I'm guessing that they have consulted legal experts
Anybody know what the thinking is on this?
