Marta and I spent the evening out to dinner and came home to the news |

Edited on Wed Mar-09-11 09:24 PM by Omaha Steve
I was at therapy. My immobilizer came off today. I still can't drive, so Marta stopped to pick me up. Marta informed me our middle daughter Kristen (Sissy) wanted us to meet them in downtown Omaha for dinner. They wanted to pick me up. I've been down since learning of a herniated disc in my neck. No news at the restaurant. Marta had 70's music on sirius on the way home.
So I walked in to the top of the hour news on MSNBC. I can't believe this. Many of the members losing their rights belong to my union, AFSCME. I'm taking this hard like everybody else. This hurts by far more than my neck. Perhaps this will wake up people enough to vote R's out nation wide top to bottom in 2012.
I'll be back after going through lots of reading material on what happened.

2. One of my close buddies |

is a lifelong Democrat. He's also a devout Catholic. His comment about today's events:
"On Ash Wednesday, the Wisconsin State House is full of Judases." Then he cried.
