Banana Republic of Walkerconsin
Just saw the video of the Wisconsin 'conference' committee meeting on the Rachel show.

This really is banana republic stuff ... I would think that the Wisconsin public would be outraged at this kind of tyrannical behavior.

Actually, I feel kind of sorry for Wisconsin -- a state with a once sterling reputation for clean, open government now looks like, well, a banana republic.

5. Or ...
"This is what happens when the progressive base is taken for granted and becomes demoralized."

Sorry, I don't blame the progressive base that was continuously dissed by the establishment Democratic Party in Washington, D.C. during the last two years for failing to get excited about voting last November.

Even now, the timidity coming from the Democratic Party 'leadership' towards the Wisconsin situation is baffling.

7. Yes, I absolutely blame people who chose not to vote.
You vote because that is a right that is too precious just to cast aside because you are demoralized or unhappy. If Republicans can get their asses out to vote then Democrats better well do the same of suffer the consequences and we have seen here in Wisconsin what those consequences are.

If people who ordinarily vote for Democrats abdicate their right to vote by staying home then Republicans will gladly fill that void.

It is STUPID not to vote.

2. You think we should be annoyed at these clowns?
Are you unaware of what's happening in the Capitol tonight?

The smell of a General Strike is in the air.

4. Damn right it is...
All that has to be done, ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, is to shut down EVERYTHING for two lousy days. Then, and only then will the corporatists know that this country is run by WE THE PEOPLE, not them, the corporations!
