That is a dumb thing to say. I wonder why she is embracing eastern mythology of Dragon?

There are contexts of fire breathers that is good, and contexts of multiple dragons that is outside of the meaning of that label as many see it, specifically in eastern mythology.

But unfortunately many that try to interpret what they should not have a loaded macro for that exact word.


If you do not interpret what you should not, that kind of comment sorta works out, but most westerners and Americans interpret some text to attach a bad meaning to dragon.

I wonder why she is doing that?


That is really stupid if she said that, she is working against the Democrats on that one. Most likely intentional to try to paint some group some way.



Dragon slaying is a common thought of destroying some bad, without having to actually hurt anything by using a representation of bad, the big bad dragon.


I would guess she is speaking in the context of 'trainning a dragon' like in dinotopia movie, or Avatar.

There is a group that thinks people 'train' or control a spiritual thing to serve them. Thats not how it works, when people try to claim ownership in training concepts, the slave becomes the master, you can see that in many ways.

The killing of the dragon can be thought of as healing of the dragon by teaching, not by training, training has a superiority complex flaw, and is used against a person by getting them to think something works for them, when it is usually trying to get in close.

I am not trying to train Rachel, but she really says some stupid things once in awhile, there is almost no good way to see something like calling your own group a dragon, at best there is a small mythos that looks favorably on that, but not part of her audience, and more likely some claim of 'some group' she might even think she is part of being trained.

Someone burned her getting her to say that.

I have no idea why she would say that except to hurt democrats without knowing what she is saying.


Although I have made that same use of training concept mistake when using 'training' comment like girl in the corner, and a few other things like 'better trainer' comment. Although that is not training like the Avatar concept. I think of girl in the corner, and better training as teaching, since in both those concepts it is not training for usage, but for betterment and passing on something learned or known.

So her comment did get me to think on the concept of training, and its facets, I think the better training is not to get someone to serve you, but to help them better find how all people should help all people, but with balance.

Interesting comment though, if only to inspire thought.

If she was trying to add a blocker so nobody of western, and most people in the USA would not see what she is saying, why did she say the democrats were that, what other thing was she saying in that comment that she did not want most Americans to hear? Do you have a link to that comment?
