I think it has been hugely frustrating to them that actions have been a sustained, peaceful protest. This has shown that the opposition are the rational, hard working people who form the foundation of the state.

They've even held that line with Fox reporters trying their hardest to provoke them by instead facing off with signs and words that prove their point and not giving Fox even one minute of the "violent union thug" meme to show on video (so much that Fox resorted to using video from another state and got busted and schooled on that).
I noticed in looking at Google news that Fox is already trying to sell the meme with a new "Rabid Leftists Storm Capitol After Vote" headline.

A continued sustained peaceful protest with even more numbers is the one thing they have no clue how to effectively counter.
