... we would not be going through this right now.

That is the truth of the matter.

They created a deficit with their taxcuts so they could call it a crisis and attack the working people and the unions.

It is time to repeal the taxcuts - every damn one of them!

but they finally got it done. If there's no money for social programs an things that support the people, we will return to the days of the super rich and the slaves to their whims.

4. Tonight proved that it wasn't about budgets
never was.

The tax breaks manufacutred these crises and provided the perfect cover for a power play. Even after that cover was blown, they went for the power play. Now their true colors are out there for everyone to see.

5. 100% correct, Naomi Klein calls it "Shock Doctrine", shock people with a fake crisis
then invent remedies that involve taking sole power and stripping people of their rights. It's been the GOP mode of operation for 30 years.
