When BULLIES grow up? . . . . "Might makes Right"
Edited on Thu Mar-10-11 07:15 AM by annabanana
I contend that authoritarian personalities, and the Wisconsin, Iowan and Michigan Republicans ]b are classic bullies. When the law, or contracts, or simple human decency keep them from getting what they want, it's damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.

If they CAN run over, with complete disregard, every legal, social or even moral stricture on their way to getting what they want. . then they will... EVERY TIME.

Maybe the President will start to contend with the grownup bullies and let schools, parents, and when necessary, the police deal with the kids.

by waiting to see if the bully can win before making a decision.

I'm beyond expecting energetic supportive language from any administration official in DC.

2. We can't wait
This is an attempt to take over in a blatantly illegal and unconstitutional manner. Just as the last two years of 'just say no' has left our country without policy regarding important issues this is something we can't afford, as a country, to ignore or let stand. I've never seen Michael Moore more upset than he was last night on Rachel Maddow. I feel the same, we need to be in the streets.

4. No one here in Wisconsin is waiting on any politician from DC
This isn't a national news story here. It's not a background picture over a newscaster's shoulder as quibbling goes on between host and pundit or politician.

Last night the R's let loose a frontal barrage on unions. Not for budget reasons, but because they want to destroy unions. That was blatant, it was also vastly unpopular.

Now there is Hell to pay.

7. You make us all proud!
I hope this is the spark. What's happening to you in WI is a taste of what's in store for the entire nation if we don't take action to stop it.

8. Bullies are Cowards..
The best way to deal with them is to not back down, confront them. This is well known which is why it's impossible to overlook how little confrontation there has been for two years...just capitulation. What's happening in WI is terrible but the peoples reaction is wonderful!
