The Great American Shared Sacrafice
The point everyone is missing and by everyone I mean especially the American Media, is we have many of our elected Lawmakers using the phrase “Shared Sacrifice”

During World War II, while the Working Class offered up their sons and daughters, fathers, brothers, mothers and sisters by the millions, either directly by enlistment in active military service or the War Effort Construction. By foregoing Eggs, Meat, Sugar, Petroleum, Cars, and many other “Rationed” items – even American Manufacturing made a “Shared Sacrifice” converting over their factories and NOT CHARGING PROFITS as part of the War Effort.

Now we have obscene amounts of money being charged to the American government and ultimately the American Tax Payer through “Privatized Military” support services that defy logic and rational. Yet not 1 single voice is decrying “The American Tax Payer” can not afford your obscene profits”

$130K per year plumbers

$170K per year Security Guards

All of which the subcontractor places his 20% profit on, hands it up the chain to yet another subcontractor who places his 20% on it, then to the prime contractor who places his 20% on it, and then hands it to the American Tax Payer.

Anyone care to mention why Howard Hughes was hauled up in front of congress during WWII.

Lets try and put this in perspective

Calif ............ Deficit = $19.7 Billion .............Amount paid into Iraq War through Federal Taxes = $21.8 Billion
Michigan ..... ..Deficit = $4.6 Billion ..............Amount paid into Iraq War through Federal Taxes = $2.0 Billion
Ohio ........... ..Deficit = $6.0 Billion ..............Amount paid into Iraq War through Federal Taxes = $3.0 Billion

I could go on but I'm sure by now everyone gets the point

Value of Haliburton's "No Bid" Contracts in Iraq .......... $16 Billion and counting

The $400 Army Hammers and $1000 Air Force Toilet Seats haven't taught us nothing

Again - Why go after the little guys
