Franklin Graham at leadership forum says okay for Christian leaders to be offensive.
He was speaking at the large university in Central Florida along with George Bush, Kurt Warner, Condoleezza Rice, David Gergen and others.

Southeastern University is affiliated with the Assemblies of God churches.

This article really struck home right now because all over our country newly elected Republican leaders are certainly acting in an offensive way. They are rigidly moving ahead with their ideology. They are not even listening to moderate voices within their own party. I don't know if their political ideology is Christian, but for sure they are not worried about being offensive to others.

It pained me to read Franklin Graham's words.

Franklin Graham at Leadership forum.

Evangelist Franklin Graham opened his speech at Southeastern University on Wednesday by saying he isn't good at being politically correct. But he later said that Christian leaders shouldn't worry about being politically correct or offending others when it comes to espousing their beliefs.

..."When you talk about leadership I see things in black and white. I see good and evil," said Graham, who serves as president and CEO of missionary aid organization Samaritan's Purse.

Graham criticized the idea that churches and religious organizations should alter their message to appeal to the changing values of contemporary society. Saying society has become too tolerant of sin, Graham condemned adultery, gay marriage and abortion.

"God is going to judge. He's warning us," Graham said.

He said all faiths should not be accepted equally, specifically noting that Muslims do not recognize Jesus as the son of God. Graham said Christian leaders should not fear alienating people of different faiths because Christianity is "the truth."

the Good Samaritan parable?

as you do unto the least of these?

Franklin is entitled to his opinion, but he is not a follower of Jesus

4. There's that Muslim smack again
He seems to have forgotten that the Jewish faith doesn't recognize Jesus as the son of God either.

5. Yes, indeed, it's best that they offend the maximum number of people.
That's much better than having them be able to fool the maximum number of people. So, come on, RWR ideologues, be as offensive as possible to as many as possible.

8. Just what in the hell is "the truth"?
And what makes Graham think Christianity has cornered the market on it?

But he's right...most Christian leaders ARE offensive.

10. "condemned adultery, gay marriage and abortion." But not our tolerance of poverty and homelessness?
Seems to me that Graham worships a very small god.
