the honking, for those of you who haven't noticed |
|
is frequently to the beat of,
THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE
It can actually sound pretty cool at night around the square, cars taking turns with the chant.
Of course, if you're a Walkerville resident, it might get a little old, I suppose, by 2:00 in the morning...

I figure the mental health industry will be thriving in Wisconsin, if nothing else is.
After the first day or two of protests, everything sounded like a responsive chant to me.
"Grande Caramel Macchiato" "Drive on up to the open window"

10. Almost every year -- You can't miss the bubble-mobile |

The fair has moved a block away from us since we moved here (it used to start right on the corner), but it's worth the walk.
One of the things I've liked about it is that it hasn't entirely succumbed to tourists yet (though it's getting there), like so many other larger local festivals. Guess I can't blame people for wanting to be here, though. :)
