I really don't want to come off as insulting, but "People's Party" has Marx, Lenin and Mao written all over it. FOX will have a scream fest with such a title: no matter how well meaning it is.

Trust me on this. The GOP scumbags know all about message, and that is why every bad initiative they have come up with has a pleasant sounding name.

Names like Independence, Liberty and Freedom sell to and confuse the rubes. People's party will have them fingering the lock on their gun.

Make 'em pull out and explain their right wing canard about this being a republic, not a democracy (which is what the Federalist Party wanted, but that ship sailed a couple of centuries ago). Emphasize this was intended by the founders (the ones that the right are trying to write out of the history books) as a nation of citizens, not of elites. Ridicule the Tea Party with statements like "they're so backwards they don't realize the people who organized the first Tea Party already won, though the teabaggers would like to put an end to that great democratic experiment (insert snide remark about how the right even thinks America isn't a democracy, and reference canard).

Attack their patriotism. After all, they aren't patriotic. They're right wing authoritarian followers.
