Hello lurking teabaggers. Does it hurt when you think?
I'm just curious, whenever you try to think, does your head hurt? Can you feel the electrical impulses as your few remaining neurons try to connect with each other to form a thought?

The vast majority of you are not rich. For the most part, you're members of the working class, like so many of us. Yet, you constantly rant and rave on behalf of Wall Street corporations who don't give a flying fuck about you. It would be analogous to African-Americans rallying in support of the KKK. It just doesn't make any sense. You're so full of hatred and bitterness that you can't even see that it's the corporations that are tearing this country apart, not government. Government regulation is the only thing that has kept the corporations from completely turning this country into a giant feudal camp, although it's certainly heading in that direction, thanks in no small part to small-minded people like yourselves. You're the ones who voted for people like Scott Walker and Rick Scott, who are now actively working to destroy your way of life. These people couldn't care less about you, their only concern is shoring up their corporate sponsors.

Yet your fear of the Black Man in the White House, your fear of Muslims, your fear of brown-skinned immigrants, all this fear and hatred has clouded your thinking. So much so that the Koch brothers and other corporatists know that they can control you to do their bidding. How does it feel to be someone else's puppet?

3. I live in Florida, Rick Scott just keeps handing out ammunition
It's almost as if Rick Scott and Scott Walker are in a battle to see who can be the most evil, who can fuck over their states the most.

9. I come from the land of Brewer. We are getting our fair share here as well.
They are trying to cut all ties to the federal government. To do what they want without any rules, whether it's about that dang fence, education, healthcare. It's unbelievable.
And we now have a state gun. The Colt.

What I'm beginning to wonder is if there is a state that is not going thru RW madness right now.

17. Oregon, more or less
We elected a democratic governor. Again. It's been something like 24 years since we've had a republican gov. The cerrent one served two terms, took two off and is back again.

12. Your posts and outrage are greatly appreciated!
It's good to know that I'm not alone when battling the daily feelings of nausea due to the crap this crook is dragging our state through.

7. That's the problem; they don't think. They are either
reacting to something said on faux without ever questioning it or verifying it, or operating off of their inbred racism that their parents passed down to them.

8. I'm actually starting to think that for a lot of them it's all about the fun costumes.
Maybe they also like the fumes from the markers they use to misspell their signs.

11. The problem with your question
is that the answer is "Yes"

Unfortuntely, due to said pain caused by said thinking, when said lurking tea baggers began reading your post, thoughts began forming, pain began building, and back arrow buttons began getting clicked.

I doubt a single LTB (Lurking Tea Bagger) made it past your third sentence...

13. you know what we need?
If we want to win, that is. We need narratives and frameworks and information.

We need for the public to be informed and also to have some way to process information, to fit it into a frame. A frame where the government does stuff to prevent the people from getting screwed by powerful special interests.

So, let's break down the essence of your narrative that you are telling people who disagree with you.

1. you people are idiots
2. corporations are destroying this country
3. rich people and Republican politicans don't care about you
4. you people are racist and full of hatred and fear

Narratives like these are loved by the Jets here, but don't seem like winning narratives to me, especially not #1 and #4 which were your opening and closing.

#2 and #3 would be good, but they probably need more explanation than you gave to them. Also if you are trying to convince somebody of point #3, it's probably not a good idea to insult them. You show from your opening and closing that you don't care about them any more than the Kochs or Walkers do. It is certainly easy enough to read on DU about how Obama, Pelosi and Reid don't care about working class Americans either.

It really makes for a much harder sale when you use so many insults in your pitch.
