Watch the Obama press conference video on Friday March 11, 2011. President Barack Obama holds a news conference on the rise in gas prices and other issues. Speech time is 11:15 a.m. ET; he will answer questions from the White House press corps after delivering his opening statement at the South Court Auditorium in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. Watch live stream video online below at that time. Thereafter check back for the full replay video and transcript text, to be posted as soon as they are available.

The speech can also be seen on CNN Live The streaming video can also be seen via the White House iPad and iPhone app, a free download. There will be live television coverage on major cable news channels MSNBC, CNN, Fox News and C-SPAN as well as broadcast networks ABC, NBC, CBS.

As noted, at the press conference the President will address rising energy costs including the recently escalating gas prices in recent weeks during the ongoing unrest in Libya and throughout the Middle East. Check back for additional details.

4. He clearly will be taking questions. The White House announced it as a press conference, not a
statement - although he'll probably make a short statement at the beginning.

He usually goes for around an hour in these. His last one was less then a month ago - Feb 15 according to CBS.

3. It is a press conference so, yes, he'll be taking questions - probably for about an hour. That is
how it usually works.
