2. A couple more to think about while you're at it
First of all, the world hit Peak Oil in 2005, and we've been on a production plateau ever since, even through the price spike to $147/bbl in 2008.



Second, net oil exports have begun to decline as producers keep more of their oil for domestic consumption rather than exporting it. Exports are what make up the world oil market. It's entirely possible for the market volume to go to zero, as the mathematical trend line suggests.

not sure what to make of that yet. The supply lines should be there to Japan.

5. Question about US oil production:
USA shown as 3rd top producer.
USA NOT shown as oil exporter?

Yet, how much of crude oil that is "produced" in USA is by non-US companies like BP?
Many foreign owned companies are pumping USA oil in our country. Who do they sell the oil to?
