New website up - American General Strike Dot Com
Take America back from the Corporations!

Home Page

Welcome to americangeneralstrike.com

The American worker is under a relentless assault by the corporations. While 400 families control more wealth than than 150 million other Americans, they're not satisfied. They want it all. They wrecked the economy, stole all the money, and want us to keep paying. Enough is enough!

It's time to throw out the entire corrupt system and put power back into the hands of the people. Reforming it is just negotiating the terms of your enslavement.

2. Good, give them plenty of hits.
The only weapon the people have against the Corporate monsters is to cost them money.

But it does need to be organized properly and it can't be just one group, it has to be everyone so they really feel the pain.

Non-union workers should back them up by going out on strike also.

They are trying to turn this country into a third world country with a cheap labor force.

People should never have accepted ANY cuts in pay, they were never necessary.

And laws need to be passed to stop the outsourcing of American jobs. Any company that does that needs to be taxed as high as possible.

You want to hire cheap labor overseas, then you don't get penalized tax wise. Maybe if it costs them enough, they'll make the right choice, or go out of business, which would be fine also.

4. Striking in a bad economy when so many are desparate for work is not a good idea.
A better approach would be to refuse to buy goods imported from low wage countries.

Demand retailers to stock American made goods and buy locally and from smaller retailers.

By buying American, and from small, local businesses, people will keep the economy working (money circulating), while, at the same time, denying the large corporations their profits.
