I'm so angry with NPR that I could spit nails |
|
Once again, today on NPR's "All Things Considered", the host interviewed ONLY the Republicans regarding Wisconsin and public sector unions, while lobbing softball questions in an oh-so milquetoast way.
This is not the first time that seemingly no Dems have been interviewed on NPR on this crucial issue of union rights.
I am surprised that the workers' comp bills at NPR aren't sky-high, with all these "reporters" and hosts bending over so far backward to kiss Republican *ss.

1. Stream another station then, like Brian Leher on WNYC |
|

2. I'm not a regular listener anymore, but as I understand it, it's been drifting rightward |
|
for sometime. I don't commute as much anymore, used to listen a lot more.

3. NPR has sounded like an organ of the AEI |
|
..American Enterprise Institute, for a few years now.
They have AEI fellows to comment on nearly every story.

7. NPR is a shadow of what it once was |
|
Money and the placement of certain people in NPR has neutered it as far as being part of "the liberal media." Now, you don't have to be a sleuth to pick up the right wing talking points from time to time.

9. In order to get those government funds, they |
|
believe they have to cater to the right. I wonder why? Aren't there any Democrats in Congress?
The best thing that could happen to them is to lose those funds, they are apparently a very small amount of their budget. Then they could start being an independent media again.
Right now they are auditioning for the Rightwing Congress to prove to them how 'fair and balanced' they are, practically begging for funding and it's despicable to watch or listen to, so I don't.
