The Senate passed a bill that would end pay for Congress and the elected officials in the White House in case of a government shutdown...they are now among the only government workers who still get paid even when there is no budget amd the rest of government shuts down. This bill pass unanimously in the Senate, and now it is the Houses turn to pass it...
