I was in Japan for 9/11. Now, in the states, my wife can't get through to her family in Japan

Like 9/11, communication systems are either down or too clogged to be able to get through.

Like 9/11, I feel helpless watching from a different country as people I know might be caught in the mess.

I hate this.
