No offense intended, but is this a magazine with which you have a relationship? Most editors would pay for the rights to use photos.... :shrug:

More like "shoestring." Our resoureces are primarily devoted to local news and we have no budget for international coverage, however with something this big it would be good to have some images to show. With the Mexico quake we were able to get photos sent to us by readers traveling in the area. Hoping for the same here, or perhaps links to a live webcam in the affected areas.
