NH Woman zaps pregnant woman with stun gun road rage for going too slow
A woman allegedly zapped a pregnant woman with a stun gun in a case of road rage in New Hampshire earlier this week.

Police said 22-year-old Carissa Williams got upset when the other driver, a 28-year-old pregnant woman, was going too slow along a highway in Pembroke.

Williams started throwing items at the pregnant woman’s car.

At some point, Williams passed the woman, but the two ended up getting off at the same exit. The pregnant woman was on the phone with a 911 dispatcher to report the incident when Williams entered her car and attacked her.

Uh, lock your doors then call 911. But still unbelievable the amount of rage in this country!

1. That can't be good for the baby.
Throw her in jail for attempted murder.

7. It has whatever value the MOTHER places on it.

It is dependent on the host.

If a woman doesn't want a baby and has
an early miscarriage, she will be relived.

If a woman desperately wants a baby and has
a miscarriage, she might never get over it.

That's the "equation".

Get it?

Why is it a fetus when we are talking about abortion but when some whack job does something like this it suddenly becomes a child or a baby?

18. It's the GOP/Ayn Randian promotion of selfishness, greed and
narcissism as the absolute "good" that has lead to the current state of society.

11. I can't believe people drive without locking their doors. This is no way
meant to blame the innocent victim of a ignorant jerl, it just caught my attention.

12. I lock mine based on situation-- more generally at night.
Edited on Fri Mar-11-11 12:58 PM by hlthe2b
After encountering such a loon, I probably would have immediately locked them then and there as well. But, do you really ALWAYS lock your doors when driving?

13. I recently found out that it is often recommended that people not lock
My husband had to attend driving school recently due to NOT traveling anywhere near slow enough to get stun-gunned by this crazy lady in the story; and he said that the officer teaching the class told them it was a bad idea to lock your doors when driving so that in event of an accident it would be easier to get everyone out of the car. I disagree with this, times being what they are, but it seems to be the advice some give anyway.

19. I can see the rationale, but I used the kid locks on my back seat doors.
After having one toddler surprise me by being long enough to grab a door handle from a properly installed car seat and open his door while we were going 45 mph....doors stayed locked. The kids are older now, so that isn't a concern, but my car automatically locks the doors when the car goes over a certain mph.

14. The pregnant woman was traveling 35 mph in a 35 mph speed-zone
http://www.boston.com/news/local/new_hampshire/articles/2011/03/11/nh_cops_pregnant_woman_gets_road_rage_stun_shock/

CONCORD, N.H.—A 22-year-old New Hampshire woman is facing charges she used a stun gun on a pregnant woman in what police are calling a road rage incident that began because the other driver was traveling 35 mph in a 35 mph hour speed-zone in Concord. Concord police say Carissa Williams of Pembroke left her own child in her car on Monday and opened the rear door of the other vehicle, got in a started shocking the driver, who kept yelling at her to stop because she was pregnant. The other driver had called 911 and operators listened to the incident.

22. Some Thoughts
I hope police get a search warrant; changes are they're going to find some amount of drugs or other contraband at Williams' home.

Nice people don't carry stun guns.
