Breaking News from the Nuclear Energy Institute
Edited on Fri Mar-11-11 08:34 PM by kristopher
Due to ongoing emergency overtime is authorized for all personnel working in the area of social media until further notice. The emergency is expected to be of substantial duration so managers should ensure rotation is adequate for continuous coverage by fully alert operatives.

6. The Japanese declare a state of emergency at the nuclear
reactors then proceed to play the threat down like it is just a minor problem. That kind of has me worried, sounds to me there is a much bigger problem than they are willing to admit.

7. Not to say you shouldn't be worried, but,...
...the Japanese have a trust of authority and view of what the individual needs/wants to know that is markedly different than ours. For example, if you were to develop terminal cancer you would not informed of the diagnosis, you would be lied to by both the doctors and your family (were you Japanese).

They trust those responsible for finding solutions perhaps too much, but at the same time there are definite benefits to social cohesiveness that we have difficulty appreciating.
