If you want to be in a really pissy mood.....watch "Inside Job"... |
|
I saw it in a local Art House today.
Unbelievable horrible what these people got away with.
And amazing no one went to trial for it.
This country is so apathetic that no one really cares.
As long as American Idol is on and CNN is covering Charlie Sheen then we are happy.
Make sure you rent it on DVD when it comes out if you get a chance.

3. I have graduated beyond pissy mood, |
|
what with all I've seen, read and studied. It's like finding a picture of Dorian Gray in your closet and realizing that the whole simulated facade is really that distorted, horrific, rotting, old face there.
For those who know what beyond pissy mood is, you realize its not anger, rage, or even berserker. No, it's not something you can't tell someone about, they have to see it for themselves.

5. They aren't making it easy for the plebs to see it. |

The "powers that be" are protecting Wall Street elites (not elite in the sense of values or intellect, but in shrewdness and greed) not protecting Americans who have been harmed by them. I've asked theater owners and none want to show it. Even Blockbuster doesn't carry it. The system is rigged and it is rigged in these scumbags favor.

11. My local BB doesn't have it |
|
I go to my local Blockbuster and they don't carry it. Demographics may play a part as we are in a relatively middle class suburban Republican area of PA. I've asked for it just I asked for Gasland and they don't carry that either. They say both are coming sometime.
The real game is about keeping the most Americans illiterate and uninformed, and Blockbuster is part of the media mindset that has a part in keeping Americans barefoot and stupid while allowing the corporate interests with all the money to have free reign over our country and beliefs.
We have three main constituencies that threaten the continued existence of a democratic USA.
- Foreign lobbyists, - Consolidated corporate media with an agenda, - Wall St class that has no loyalty to the USA but only advancing the wealth of its main participants and scamming the public, and owning our elected officials.

16. Blockbuster is a dying business and business model, what |
|
they do at this point is gasp for air. Look to Netfilx to see what's being watched. Inside Job just won the Oscar last week, and the director made a great speech which was seen by a global audience. This means the film will be seen by more people in the next month than saw it in the past year, exponentially more.

17. The DVD was just released Tuesday of this week.... |
|
so check again. It is a major Oscar winning release from Sony Classics. I'm sure it is flying at Netflix and in the few remaining video stores this week. It was being touted on a Redbox at the 7-11 I was at today. Not exactly secret materials.

I think I'll have to watch it in small doses. I'm read The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine by Michael Lewis and have to put the book down frequently because I get so angry.
There were people who acted criminally and people who were criminally incompetent. And they all got rich. It really does make you furious, doesn't it?

14. Yeah... that was a tough one to watch. |

Banks have a strangle hold on the world.
They definitely own the US government. Without going into too much detail, the scene that stuck with me the most had to do with a woman within our government, who was fighting the big banks, getting a phone call from a big wig and immediately giving up her fight.
Now I sit here day after day mulling over how they can be stopped. Hackers setting everything back to zero? The world pulling their cash and keeping it at home? I don't know. If they run the government, no one will regulate them.

Just one more movie to make me mad as hell that the Rogue Criminal Rich, no matter how many films are made about their bastardry and methodic destruction, get worse and more in control of things every single day and each passing year.
